At times in 2024 I really struggled for motivation. When you’re self employed and only earn money if you’re working, that isn’t a great situation to be in.
I ended up reaching out to a Cognitive Brain Training (CBT) therapist who really helped me. Teaching me ways find that motivation, even when things are not going to plan. I’m not here to be your therapist, that takes years of learning. What I wanted to do was share a couple of the key points that helped me one of which was goal tracking.
When I started looking for a goal tracking I struggled to find one that was set out like I wanted it to be…so I created my own and listed it for sale on Amazon.
It’s a straight forward journal to help you set goals, track and review them. There’s space to set and review yearly goals, monthly goals and weekly goals. As well as room to make plans for each day.
This journal isn’t restricted by dates either. It’s simply broken down into days (M,T,W,T,F,S,S), Months (1-12) and I have given each month room for 5 weeks. leaving lots of additional space to scribble more thoughts
You can use this notepad to help record goals for the year, the month, or just small weekly goals. Use it to plan your days to help achieve those goals.
Don’t forget to review your progress, be honest but don’t worry if you haven’t quite reached a goal. Adjust your plan to help you smash it next time!
